The Heavy Cast Iron Base Was No Doubt An Inspiration For Marelli Electric Fan Of The Early 1900's. The Original Finish, Pinstripes, And Lettering Is Incredible. Brass Blades Have A Wonderfully Unique Patina. The Wings Of The Blades Are Attached To The Hub Using Brass Slotted Screws, A Very Unique Design Construction Detail. The Original Crank Twists Onto The Windup Shaft. There Is A Manually Operated Brake On The Back Of The Clockwork Mechanism. The Mechanism Was Recently Serviced By An Expert Clock Doctor. A True Work Of Art That Complements Any Decor.
