A top quality antique yew wood military campaign style pedestal desk. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.

It is very well made, with a useful and smart design. The yew wood has a lovely colour tone, there is high quality brass hardware throughout, including inset military brass handles, carry handles on the sides and corner pieces. The pedestals sit on plinth bases, this has an inset green leather top with tooled edges. The back is also nicely finished, so this can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
