Antique William IV / early Victorian carved mahogany and show wood desk elbow carver chair.

A great rare find and very decorative.

Sought after inverted tulip and melon fluted front legs, plus amazing carved back.....a very high spec expensive chair.

Wonderful warm patinated mellow brown colour.

Date from the first half of the 19th Century.

Solid, very heavy and strong with no loose joints.

Good new reupholstery in a heavy weight upholstery fabric, with a natural, light oatmeal colour.

Overall maximum dimensions

58cmW x 56cmD x 88cmH (48cmH seat when sat on, 70cmH arms).

Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Some historic extinct woodworm holes, treated for good measure.
