Purchased locally, a delightful set of five mid 20th.c. concrete garden figures of Welsh ladies c.1960. Between 15″ – 21″ tall. In traditional dress wearing their iconic tall black hats with lace ribbons, shawls and long dresses. Lovely detail to the faces. One carries a yoke with dairy pails, another has bucket, another a little tin tray and one with a bunch of flowers. Two are shaped to sit on a wall or doorstep. Presented as found with the original paintwork.
