A very good quality Waltham Pocket Watch movement.
The winding square is located at three o'clock therefore this movement is suitable for a full hunter or half hunter watch case.
The movement is of a high grade - 19 Jewels, adjusted, with a lovely damaskeened finish and a micro-metric regulator, all signs of a top quality watch. The movement is signed "Vanguard, Waltham Mass" and also "19 Jewels, Adjusted". The serial number 16,136405 dating the manufacture to c1908.
It is in excellent condition and in very good working order.
The dial measures 42mm in diameter.
