Waltham Full Hunter Pocket Watch, 1918
Waltham full hunter pocket watch, 1918.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working well. The fully signed movement has the serial number 21852748 which dates it back to 1918. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has an inscription June 11th 1921.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, the manufacturers of the majority of cases for Waltham UK. The case has some light surface marking from use and a small "ding" to the back covers but overall it is in nice condition for a 1918 piece. The front cover has monogrammed initials.
The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial is in nice condition, with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
