A stunning late Victorian Jewelry box dating to around 1890/1900, it's always exciting to find one of these highly sought-after cabinets.

Made from Walnut, the domed top has an inset brass carrying handle, coordinating with all of the other brass fittings and hardware, all having been painstakingly & professionally polished to gleam.

The lid opens to reveal the professionally relined interior. The fitted tray has various compartments. The interior of the lid is totally original with tufted silk surrounding a bevelled glass mirror.

Below are two drawers each having been professionally re-lined to coordinate with the original silk, creating a fresh clean interior ready to use. The two doors to the front are fitted with the original thick bevelled glass.

Dating to the late Victorian era, around 1890/1900 it remains in superb condition. 11 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 8" tall.
