Vintage Terrestrial Drinks Globe, Continental
This is a vintage terrestrial drinks globe. A Continental, composite hardwood cocktail trolley cabinet, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1970.

Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order
Decorated composite hardwood presents rich caramel hues and warm palette
Domed lid dressed with small wooden finial and inset hinge
Historically annotated globe with copious detail and appealing colour
Equatorial rim presents each of the astrological signs with Latin month names
Lower half of the dome spins independently, in line with the drinks rack within
The rack presents a central receptacle with a trio of outer bottle rests
Dome interior finished with an eye-catching satin gold hue
The whole raised upon a quartet of turned spindle legs
Circular base with compass motif displaying the cardinal and intercardinal points
Riding smoothly upon a set of brass castors
