A lovely bookcase cabinet. We date this bookcase to the late 20th century.

The bookcase sits on downward tapered turned legs and has a stepped cornice with dentil molding, the bookcase comes in two sections for transport.

The base section is fitted with two side by side drawers over a two door cupboard with front canted corners. The drawer is fitted with circular drop handles mounted on backplates. The interior of the base section is fitted with a mid height fixed wooden shelf.

The top section is fitted with glazed doors and has two adjustable wooden shelves.

The doors are all fitted with attractive drop handles mounted on backplates.

There is a Strongbow care label in one of the drawers.

The bookcase has an overall height of 69.5" (177cm), a base table top height of 33.3” (85cm), a width of 36" (92cm) and a base depth of 17" (44cm).

This lovely bookcase remains in a good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage, these include a few marks to the top surface of the base section and minor wear to some edges. There are some scratches to the base section top to the rear sides from where the top cabinet has been sitting.

This remains a very stylish bookcase cabinet. It could house a good sized collection of books etc. and will continue to provide sterling service for many years to come.
