Vintage Kigu powder compact
Vintage Kigu powder compact unused.
This is a beautiful Kigu - " 55 Series " Compact manufactured in the mid 1950s. This powder compact is typical of Kigu compacts, elegant, well made & attractive. The front is decorated with horizontal & parallel lines with a band of elegant flowers & foliage on a contrasting background. This is such a delightful vintage accessory. The mirror is perfect.
The inner lid is signed " Kigu " within the triangular registered trademark. It is held securely in place by the Kigu registered sliding catch designed to protect ladies nails. The original sifter is in place. It is pristine & well made. The powder well is marked " MADE IN ENGLAND ".
The base has matching parallel lines.
