A superb, large Italian Murano glass fish

This very fine early example from the highly skilled local craftsmen from the small Italian island of Murano.

This is a very large and beautifully modelled piece that displays very natural movement and good detail.

It has been hand blown in heavy glass of rich translucent colours, which include blue, red and metallic silver, cased in amber and clear glass. This most eye catching fish is finished with beautiful, rare millefiori glass eyes made in a cane of green, white and red.

This very exotic glass sculpture is mounted on a permanent integral glass stand which has a ribbed design with outspread feet in matching clear and amber glass.

This sculpture is in perfect condition. It displays beautifully with its spectacular colours, especially in natural bright light.
