Description:
This is a good quality vintage English Georgian Regency style mahogany bow front tall Wellington chest of drawers, circa 1970, in excellent original condition. The tallboy chest features seven graduated drawers below a moulded top, with the top drawer incorporating a working lock with key. The drawers are constructed with mahogany dovetail joints, the fronts are decorated with cock-beading and retain the Regency style ring-pull brass handles and escutcheons. Standing on a moulded plinth and terminating on bracket feet. The Wellington chest of drawers is designed with narrow proportions, therefore ideal for a smaller property or bedroom, whilst providing plenty of storage space.
The Wellington chest of drawers boasts a rich mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a fantastic colour and patination this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received.
This tall chest would look superb in a variety of rooms from bedroom to the landing in either a traditional or contemporary setting. This item would certainly grace any home. So, don’t miss out on your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture.

Nominal old use marks to the leading edges and inside of drawers but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The top drawers retain the original working lock and key. All drawers feature the original brass ring handles, escutcheons and close flush to the frame. The chest also stands on its original bracket feet and retains its original backboards. This chest boasts a fantastic rich mahogany. It is solid in joint, does not wobble and is ready to be used.

We offer free delivery to mainland England, Wales, and Southern Scotland (anywhere south of Stirling). We do not offer free delivery to locations north of Stirling in Scotland, Northern Ireland, or any British Islands off the mainland for example, the Isle of Man, Isle of White and Channel Islands. Delivery will be made by our specialised antique furniture delivery service, or in some cases we will use a courier service for distant deliveries.
Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit, therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you by email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you.
