Gold Trim and lettering.
Maker: J R Gaunt, London.
The badge has been worn and so there are surface marks especially on the back. Note also the small chip at the end of the W at the top. This is not clearly visible at first glance. There is a tiny edge knock at the top above the R. Again not clearly visible at first glance.
The colour has lost its shine but it is still a very wearable and/or collectable badge.
BR(E) operated from nationalisation in 1948 until 1997.
