Victorian walnut stationary box circa 1875.
The finely figured lid inlaid with brass edging opening to a writing surface containing two inkwells, pen and stamp compartment. The hidden lever activates a spring which releases a panel giving access to secret drawers. This beautiful box is in original untouched condition, should you wish we can clean all the brass work, bath wax and polish to a high loss to finish.
