Circa 1850 Rare gilded bronze 2-part Victorian tea caddy with original gilt fittings. The cylindrical shaped lid with cast putti figures in a foliate background opening to an amazing interior with 2 detachable tea caddies with their original gilding and gilding on the interior of the lid. The body with further mythical scenes of cherubs and satyr sitting on a flared foliate base with gilded beading.
