Description:
This is a lovely quality antique English Victorian style mahogany & brown leather swivel office desk armchair, circa 1970, in good condition. The chair features the original deep-buttoned brown leather to the seat, arms and scroll shape back. The chair features its original seat studwork it has elegant wraparound arms and spindled back and arm supports. The base of the chair features elegant splayed mahogany legs, with new brass & brown ceramic castors. The chair retains its original swivel mechanism, which rotates 360 degrees, is height adjustable and features a reclining action. The height can be adjusted by turning the threaded metal screw at the base of the chair, and the tension for the reclining action can be adjusted by turning the small wheel at the front of the mechanism. The chair is solid in joint and ready to use.
This chair boasts a stunning rich red-brown mahogany colour. It has fantastic colour and patination this is due to the years of care and cleaning it has received.

The chair is in good working order. It has the original working mechanism, which rotates, raises and reclines. The leather is in good condition with minor wear and colour variation, specifically at the arm tips, but nothing significant, considering the age of the item (see photos). The chair incorporates new brass & brown ceramic castors. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the mahogany chair frame, but again, nothing significant considering its age. The chair is solid in joint and ready to use.

Delivery times are usually 1-4 weeks depending on location we aim to deliver the majority of items within 2 weeks. All items are professionally packaged and fully insured in transit, therefore, we can assure you, your items will be securely protected in transit and arrive safely with you.
Once you have purchased an item, we will contact you be email and/or telephone and provide you with a provisional delivery date, in order for you to confirm if it is suitable for you. Once you have confirmed you can accept delivery on the provisional delivery date, we will book the delivery in with our shippers and it then becomes a confirmed delivery date.

A free 14-day “no quibble” returns policy (from the date you receive the item) is available if you are not happy with this item.
