A 19th C black lacquered Victorian papier-mache tabletop box with the key. With a gold Chinoiserie scene. The lid is decorated with monks in a Chinese style garden where as the sides are decorated with noble families at leisure in a similar Chinese garden. What makes this box special are the monks on the lid and detailed decorations on all 4 sides. Measure 11.75" long, 2.75" high, and 3.5" wide
I am located at Watson’s, Burwash Rd, Heathfield. I am an independent dealer with NO connection to Watson’s.

All my stock can be viewed Tuesday from 6am until 3.00 and Saturdays from 09.00 until 1.00 or by appointment.
I live less than a mile from this location and will happy to meet you on site any day of the week from 10.00 until 5.00

Larger items I.e. furniture and longcase clocks etc, must be collected by the purchers at their own cost.
