Victorian Oak Smokers Companion Wagon
A fabulous English Victorian smokers companion wagon.
This realistic looking oak and brass wagon has a vesta box with brass striking lid in the front and the top opens for cigars, there is also an additional drawer at the back for cigarettes - both of these are lockable with key. There is a pipe rack to the front with beautifully modelled brass coaching lamps to either side which have cut glass lenses. There are brass wheels and axles to bottom and luggage rack to the roof - in all, an unusual and superb piece., circa 1880.
Measurements:
Height: 8 1/2" (approx 22cm)
Length: 12" (approx 30cm)
Depth: 5 1/2" (approx 14cm)
This would have belonged to a wealthy household and would have been brought out at the end of a meal once the ladies had retired. It would have been wheeled along the table for the guests to choose their cigars, pipes or cigarettes to go with their nightcaps.

Delivery is offered free of charge within the UK. For rest of world deliveries a charge of £20.00 is to be added to your costs. Items will be sent via DHL and you will receive an email with your tracking number from DHL when the goods have left our premises. Please note, we are no longer supplying to the European Union
