A nice Victorian Nottingham brown salt glazed stoneware tree trunk planter. This large planter is in two sections with the top bowl having a diameter of 2' and a drainage hole. The bottom trunk section is hollowed out and has numerous planting holes where branches would form. A great decorative piece and will look superb when planted out. NB Some minor cracks to the bowl however these have been professionally repaired. circa 1880
