A quite rare Victorian French Tussie Musse/Posy Holder. The Ornately Pierced Gilt Bowl alSo has a Mirror Back,attached is a Gilt Chain and Pin. The Handle is Porcelain with Gilt framed Cartouche back and front each containing hand painted Flowers.The allover Turquoise Ground also hass'Silver'decorations.The Handle is set into a pointed Gilt base from which there is a Chain and Ring attached..C.1870-80. 12cms long Max.The Gilding is still in good condition and there are no cracks or damage to Porcelain Handle. I am listed as a Private Dealer but some of my Stock can be viewed at The Antique Shop, 53, High Street Heathfield E.Sussex.If you wish, I am am able meet you there to discuss any items and also bring along any items which are not on Antiques Atlas but not displayed in the Shop.
