A beautiful and highly decorative solid Oak Victorian bookcase. With its multi coloured leaded top door, flanked by carved columns with statue motifs to top. The base section has a central drawer with a large decorative panelled door to base. The base is fitted with a single internal shelf, and the top is fitted with two adjustable shelves. Sadly, the shelves are replacement pieces of timber, but as these are for supporting books or china, they are perfectly adequate for this purpose. This piece breaks down into two individual sections for ease of transportation and reassembly, or to be used as two separate pieces.

As you can see from the photographs, the top is slightly darker than the base section however, this does not detract from the beauty of this piece of antique furniture.

This Victorian carved bookcase is in good condition and would be ideal for any period property.
