Victorian 19C walnut leather library desk armchair
Antique Victorian 19C walnut leather library desk tub chair or armchair.
Fantastic Gothic styling.
Quality, attractive and well made chair, with no loose joints or wobbles.
Heavy, solid and strong.
Great proportions and styling, which would look amazing in the right location.
The leather upholstery is old, heavily patinated and worn, with cracking and repairs....looks fantastic.
Overall maximum dimensions
74cmW x 66cmD x 77cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical repairs, as is the norm, but all is solid now. We have not inspected components concealed beneath the upholstery, but the seat is quite comfortable without the typical lumps and bumps of an antique chair. There are a few historic woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. Dissimilar period castors with wear as you would expect.
Stock No. 3735.
