This is a lovely Victorian style hexagonal mahogany table-top Letter Box made sometime in the 1920s to 1930s.

The roof has a carved leaf design, beaded edge and acorn finial. The flap is made of brass with the words ‘LETTERS’ engraved on it. There is a brass plaque on the door and is engraved with crown and ‘VR Monday Friday 8.30 to 4.30’. The door locks and the key is available and there is a bottom drawer. This is a lovely design piece for any home.
