Very Rare George II Enamel snuff box c1750
A Rare George II Enamel snuff box, possibly Battersea, the lid beautifully hand painted with musicians in a woodland scene, the sides with further figures, the interior with Venus and Cupid.
Fitted with gilt mounts. Measures approx. 8cm in length.
Overall in excellent condition with light expected wear but exceptional condition given age. No loss or damage to the enamel, no chips or cracks. Colours still vibrant. Hinge in good order, still shuts perfectly. An exquisite piece.
