A very decorative Double-Hemisphere World Map of anon German origin.

original copper engraved map with modern hand colouring Hogarth style black/gold frame museums quality mounting board.

This map is from an unknown German publication c 1780.

A most charming world map depicted as Western and Eastern Hemisphere with German title and legend in German on the right handside. All the continents are depicted with indigenous peoples and animals which makes this map a very 'pretty' but still educational addition to a child's room. Payment can be made with cash, cheques, money transfer, PayPal and most credt/debit cards.
