Charming little early 19th.c. South Wales dresser base c.1800. Unusually small size, just 52" wide. The top features a raised plate stand along the back edge, shaped sides and crisp ogee moulded edges. Three drawers with large wooden knobs over an attractive triple arch apron with a cockbeaded edge. Raised on slim chamfered legs front and rear, joined with an open potboard display shelf. Some old repairs, most obviously to the top which has a couple of patches where there would originally have been knots in the timber. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
