Unusual 19th century Chinese brass and cloisonne cigar box. The outside of the box is engraved on all sides with various Chinese scenes including dragons and vines. The front of the box has two cast brass Buddha's and usual type locking clasp. The top and front of the box have very nice round cloisonne placques attached in various colours. I presume the placques tell a story. The inside of the box is hardwood lined.
