Antique Beautiful Quality Victorian Tunbridge Ware Bon Bon Bowl. 1850's

This is a stunning antique bowl of good proportions in stunning Rosewood and mixed woods.

The octagonal bowl is typical Tunbridge Ware with a mosaic tesserae.

A stunning array of flowers and geometric forms with bands of stunning flowers and various very fine detail. In the middle of the bowl is a spectacular Stag.

The main body is solid Rosewood.

Folding down lifting handle.

Excellent polish and no loses to Tunbridge Ware that I can notice. Overall superb well-maintained condition.

This bowl is attributed to the world-famous Henry Hollamby/Thomas Barton made in their workshops in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.UK.

Height to top handle 14 cms. (5 1/2")
