Very pretty little tortoiseshell box for storing needle packets. It has metal decorative stringing on the top, possibly silver, and stands on turned bone feet. The condition is very good with a nice strong hinge, although when open the lid looks a bit wonky! A lovely little box dating to the mid 19th century. It measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/4" x 1" high. I prefer payment by bank transfer, details on request.
