A Mid Century “Age of Kings” framed fabric panel by Tibor Reich, c 1964. This fabric was commissioned by the Shakespeare Trust to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the writer’s birth, and was originally used for the stage curtains at the Shakespeare Centre in Stratford-upon-Avon. It was designed by Pamela Kay and made by Tibor Reich in eight colour ways, and represents the Kings of England from Shakespeare's histories. Made of cotton fabric, framed in painted wood frame and glass. Fabric is in excellent original condition with strong colours.

Note that the light "stripe" sections in the images are reflections (on the glass) rather than faults or fading.
