A teak folding garden bench with a carved inscription on the back David G. Ffisk 1931-1937 measuring 148 x 72 x 89.
This bench was originally used at the sports pavilion of Eversley School Southwold Suffolk. I have been fortunate enough to have owned a number of these benches over the years with inscriptions going back to 1920's. It was probably a tradition for parents to donate a bench with their son's name when they left at 13.
