Here we have a wonderful French Oak refectory dining table c1820. As you can see the table has great colour and patina. The table has the advantage of an extending leaf to one end and a single drawer with original and beautiful hand forged handle to the other. There is a plank top with super grain and colour with cleated ends. The base is typical of the period with a shallow frieze and straight chamfered legs joined by an H stretcher. The table is of pegged mortice and tenon construction throughout. The table will comfortably seat six or eight with the extension. A super period table in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 162 cm long (213 extended) 70 cm deep and 76 cm high.
