Here we have a rare and truly outstanding Victorian specimen wood table c1860. As you can see the table has exceptional colour and patina. There are few of these antique tables and even less as remarkable as this one. The recognisable woods include Tulip, Walnut, Burr Yew, Elm, Rosewood, Boxwood, Satinwood, Mahogany, Ebony and Sycamore and there are some I cannot name. They are laid out in perfect symmetry by a wonderful hand and after a gentle clean and traditional wax polish have been preserved in wonderful condition. The sides of the top also has a deep frieze of carefully selected woods. Often the effort made in the making of these tables does not extend to the base however this is not the case as the base of this table is equally as striking and made from solid Walnut. A beautiful one off table of the finest quality in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx top 24 inches and 30 inches high.
