A Superb Mouseman apprentice solid oak dining room suite made by Martin 'Lizardman' Dutton.c.1950/60. Set of eight chairs including two carvers. Each with lattice carved high backs and fielded panel backs. Each bearing the Yorkshire critters trademark carved lizard to the chamfered leg supports. Refectory style table with a cross stretcher and matching chamfered leg supports. Superb colour and patina. The chair seats with brown hide upholstery replacing the old hide . Table measures 82" x 40.5" x 29"high. Sturmans Antiques is a family run business, established over 35 years ago in the beautiful market town of Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales.
