SUPERB 18TH CENTURY BILSTON ENAMEL PATCH BOX WITH MOTTO "A PLEDGE OF LOVE" C1760
A Superb George III South Staffordshire enamel oval patch box, with flawless hinged cover decorated with a heart and Cupid's arrows, inscribed A Pledge of Love. With powder blue ground and white interior. Internal Mirror.
Enamel in perfect order, with no loss cracks or crazing. Cracking to mirror. Overall in very good condition with no damage at all to the enamel. Measure approx. 4.5cm in length.
