Superb Campaign Writing Box
A very good quality writing slope with military style brass corners, sunken brass carrying handles and (non engraved) central cartouche, with Bramah lock and key. The box opens to reveal a green replaced hand dyed leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. The falls lift for storage of stationary, letters etc. There are 3 lidded compartments for pens, paper clips or stamps and 2 sunken wells for ink pots. A1 quality and condition. Depth 11" ... 28cm
