Superb 19th C Persian Lacquer Pen Box
We are selling this wonderful quality 19th Century Persian lacquer pen box. To open you just side the outer box revealing the inner compartment which to one end has the original silver ink well fitted. Inside also silver measuring spoon. The top is decorated with hand painted family scenes of women with small children. Both sides are waterside landscape scenes with bridges, boats and buildings. The underneath being in rich red with gold flowers and foilage. The lacquer work all being in excellent condition.
Measuring 8 1/2 inches in length with a height of 1 1/4 inches. A truly superb piece for any collection.
