Stone Lions Mask Fountain Head. Garden Wall Sculpture
This is an excellent quality antique cast stone Fountain Head.
Designed to be fitted into a courtyard or garden wall, it features a Lions head in full profile with an oak branch bearing acorns in its mouth. There is a hole through his mouth where a water pipe can be fitted.
The head is cast in high reliefwith a rectangular block backing for fitting flush into a wall.
The casting shows excellent detail of all the features of the original stone carving.
It is in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips or losses, and has a beautiful mellowed weathered stone finish.
Measurements:
18 inches wide x 12 inches high.
The head is 6 inches deep with an additional 2 inch thick base for fitting in the wall AUTUMN SALE
