Stick Barometer by Alexander Adie
A superb, mahogany, bow front, stick barometer by Alexander Adie of Edinburgh.
Fine flame mahogany veneers to the bow-front case, and a double bead moulding to its border. Elegant fluted cistern cover and pediment. The silvered scale is signed Adie, Edinburgh and finely engraved, incorporating a vernier scale operated via a rack and pinion below.
