Staples Ladderax Bookcase Cabinet Shelving in Teak
A wonderful Ladderax shelving system by Staples, this was made in England and dates from the 1960’s.
This set includes four tall ladder rails, two large chest of drawers, two open cabinets with adjustable shelves, a drop down writing bureau with burr maple interior and two shelves. One of the shelves looks as though it may have been adapted by someone as it is a little shorter than normal, but it is still a good fit and nicely made from teak.
This is a beautiful and versatile unit, the cabinets and shelves can be set up in a number of ways. This could even be split into two separate units if needed. It is is completely self supporting, when set up and leaning against a wall it requires no screws or bolts to hold it together safely. It does come with anti tip hooks for the chests, which are slightly heavier than the cabinets.
We have given this a clean and fresh oil polish, it is in great overall condition, with only some minor wear here and there.
