Stainless Steel Omega Seamaster Wristwatch 1960
For sale we have a lovely stainless steel Omega Seamaster wristwatch
The watch has a round cream dial with an outer chapter consisting minute markers and an inner chapter consisting of gold Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions and gold batons at all other positions. The dial is signed Omega, Seamaster, Swiss made. The face is completed by the original gold coloured minute, hour and second hands and also the original Omega signed winder. The dial sits beneath a very good crystal .
The watch is driven by a very clean Omega 285 manual wind movement. The movement is signed Omega, Swiss, Seventeen Jewels, along with the Omega emblem over the calibre number 285. The movement also caries the serial number 17719309. The serial number dates the watch to 1960.
The movement is encapsulated within an almost perfect stainless steel case, the back of which caries the raised Seamaster emblem.
The watch measure 43mm (1 & 11/16 inches) from lug to lug and other than some light aging of the dial and hands the watch is in a very good condition. The watch is presented on a good black leather watch strap.
