Delightful 18th Century Hand written account of a Journey by Stagecoach from London to Carlisle and Carlisle to Shrewsbury and back to London, on the 21st July to 23rd August 1787. The account lists all of the towns visited and miles between each town, with a round trip of 1060 miles.
On the reverse of the account is written 'My Journey to the North'. Hand made paper with watermark 'C. Patch'. Has 4 blue glus marks where has been in an album, but does not detract from this charming account.
