A fine & impressive 10” wheel barometer by Lione Somalvico & Co, 125 Holborne Hill, London. Quality concave cast bezel & glass, hygrometer & spirit thermometer. Choice mahogany veneers with boxwood & tulipwood banding. Somalvico, maker of high quality barometer were at this address 1805-07. There are number of examples in Banfields ‘Wheel Barometers’.
