Neat little French brass mounted marble top mahogany chest of drawers c.1960. Just 29½” wide. Highly figured grey marble top within a brass moulded edge. Over four drawers with solid mahogany drawer fronts with brass moulding, handles and escutcheon plates. Canted front corners with fluted and gilded detail. Inlaid brass stringing to the sides and a shaped apron with a pierced brass mount at the centre. Raised on short shaped legs front and rear, the front ones with particularly good mounts running the full length. Hardwood drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
