This is a six to eight seat, extending dining table in the Regency taste, an English, mahogany table dating to the late 20th century.

Raised on splayed and swept, reeded tri-form legs
Riding upon good quality, solid brass castors under hairy paw feet
Turned baluster columns providing a stable surface

Rounded 'D' ends to top with generous extension leaf
Good, consistent colour and grain interest in the mahogany top
Crossbanded to the perimeter delineated with an ebonised string

A fine dining table seating eight fully extended (4-6 closed). Some superficial marks consistent with careful use, nothing to detract from this imposing piece. Solid joints and construction. Delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
