Silver Waltham pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 620, which is working nicely. The handsomely patterned movement is fully signed and the serial number 27,539,326 which dates it back to 1931. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1908. There is a discrepancy in the dates which suggests the earlier original movement was replaced with a later one, perhaps a more economical option than a repair. The case is in good condition, just some slight unevenness to the case back.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a silver double albert with each chain measuring 19cm long.
