An Early Verge Fusee pocket watch with Silver Albert Chain and in excellent condition dated 1820
Beautiful Verge movement works well with a strong deep tick, looks clean, balance platform with jewel center for extra protection
Watch movement engraved with makers name Hyams and Hart Canterbury and stock no 1535
Solid silver dome-style case all fitting fine just a few surfaces scratches on the back really nothing much
Press button works to open the back, White dial still in great condition for its age, watch glass all good
Good heavy top loop with Hallmark
All Hallmarks in the case match for London 1820 with case makers mark SS
Comes with much later Silver Albert Chain with Fob all Hallmarks for Birmingham 1902
Weight of the chain 41.5 grams
Just a great pocket Watch and chain from George 1V times 200 years old and still in is condition and working
And to complete the set lovely old old Watch key by Benson of London
