Silver pair cases, verge - Richards, London 1775

Late 18th century verge with classic English dial.
MOVEMENT Signed and numbered (19515). Gilded verge movement with engraved and pierced balance cock. Good original condition and running well.
DIAL 36 mm, white enamel. Good condition overall with some surface scratches (the worst between 6 and 7) but no chips, hairlines or repairs. Original 18th century blued steel beetle and poker hands. The minute hand is a little short so has probably lost the tip.
INNER CASE London hallmarks for 1775 and maker's mark IR. There are some very small dents on the back and the pendant has been reattached, but overall very good condition. The hinge is fine and the case snaps shut. The high dome bull's eye crystal is fine.
OUTER CASE Matching hallmarks to the inner. Good overall condition with no repairs but the case was originally engraved and this engraving is quite worn. The hinge is fine but the catch and button are missing so the case does not snap shut. Free worldwide postage.
Payments by cheque, bank transfer, credit & debit cards and Paypal accepted.
