Shakespeare Miniature Library - Charles Tilt C.1830


This is a stunning original miniature library of ‘The dramatic works of William Shakspeare with a life and glossary and fifty-three illustrations in eight volumes’. The books are published by Charles Tilt in around 1830. They are a complete 8 volume set offered in their original miniature bookcase which is made of wood and clad in leather, gilt and tooled title to top of bookcase. The bookcase has its original glass cover. Each book is 10.5cm x 7cm in original gilt cloth board with gilding to the edge of each page. The book case is 17cm wide 15cm high and 8.5cm deep.
Condition.
The condition of the books is excellent. The book case has some condition issues, there are some losses to the leather. The frame that holds the glass is loose on the left hand side and the top. There is a loss of some of the wood to the bottom of the frame on the left hand side. We have a 14 day return policy. We accept returns if item is not as described or generally you are not happy with the item, buyer to pay return postage. Full refund of purchase price on safe return minus postage costs. This is only available within 14 days of receipt of the item.
Any items that are picked up must be paid in cash.
