Seventeenth Century Carved Panels
Five 17th cent. carved oak panels mounted on an attractive nineteenth cent. box which was specifically made to take the panels.The panels depict various scenes including symbols of fecundity,Susannah, the circumcision,symbols of the sea etc.
This is a rare item for the collector.
Box measures 13"(33cms)wide x 12"(30cms)high x 10.5"(27cms) deep.
Carved panels.3 at 5.5"(14cms),1 at 4"(10cms)x5"(15cms) and 1 at 4.75"(12cms)x5.5"(14cms). You may return a purchase within 14 days for a refund if you are not happy with it,but you will have to pay the full cost of return postage/carriage.The item must be returned undamaged.
